Blue Streak
1964
Blue Streak opened in 1964 and is currently Cedar Point's oldest existing roller coaster. When Blue Streak opened it was operated manually. At first, the ride's lap bars did not lock and the seats were bench style and had no seat belts. Over time the ride was modified.
One of the first changes to be made was to the lap bars. The lap bars were changed to lock so riders would be safer.
The ride's station was also a double loading station similar to that of Millennium Force. Blue Streak was Cedar Point's tallest roller coaster for 12 years (1964 - 1975).

Blue Streak's station is located on the Blue Streak Midway.
The station looks very nice and can get quite breezy on hot days. Blue Streak leaves the station with a left turn and goes up the lift!

The logo on the station has changed to reflect the ride's time at the park. The current logo has the skyline of the park in the background!

Blue Streak's amazing airtime hill is next! Riders will float over this hill as Blue Streak flies over the top of it!
Blue Streak then hits the break run and goes back to the station!
