Cedar Point Shores Water Park Update

This past weekend Cedar Point was open on Saturday and Sunday. Now that Soak City has officially closed for the season, Soak City has began its transformation into Cedar Point Shores Water Park! We had an opportunity to go down and check out the progress!

Soak City's East Admission page has started to come down. The new gate will be relocated to the middle of the water park near Magnum XL-200's drop.

Deconstruction of the Challenge Park Ticket booth has began. When this first opened in 1988, it was used to sell the tickets from Soak City.

Demolition on Challenge Golf has began. Challenge Golf was built in 1992.

Challenge Golf will eventually become a parking lot for the new expansion of Hotel Breakers!

The former Challenge Park is all fenced off so that construction can began on Cedar Point Shores Water Park.
