SANDUSKY, Ohio (August 25, 2014) – There is still time to get your thrill on at Cedar Point! This weekend, Cedar Point will be celebrating Labor Day with its first-ever Dollar Days, two nights of fireworks, money-saving offers on admission and exclusive deals and benefits just for season pass holders.
Dollar DaysThe highlight of this weekend’s events are Dollar Days! For only $1, hungry thrill-seekers can enjoy hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream, popcorn and more at select locations while supplies last. Also, several games of skill will be just $1. Guests of all ages can enjoy learning more about the mammoth creatures that once roamed around the planet at Cedar Point’s Dinosaurs Alive!, also for just $1! Dollar Days will be held Friday through Monday, Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
FireworksAlso this weekend, Cedar Point will be hosting two fabulous fireworks displays. On Saturday and Sunday night, Aug. 30-31, the sky above the park will come to life with a fireworks extravaganza that is sure to thrill. The fireworks display will take place each night at 10 p.m.

SANDUSKY, Ohio (August 19, 2014) – Cedar Point is adding an extra splash of color to the fall with The Color Run! The “Happiest 5K on the Planet” will be hitting the midways on Saturday, September 20 as a part of its 2014 Kaleidoscope Tour
The 5K run, which begins at 8 a.m., will wind its way around Cedar Point’s 17 coasters and through four vibrant color stations. Runners can sign up individually or in a team, with tiered pricing based on sign-up date. Every registered Color Runner will receive an official “Color Run Race Kit,” which includes a custom t-shirt, tri-color headband, shoulder sling bag and more! Cedar Point is also offering special deals on admission and accommodations for all Color Run participants. Participants will be able to purchase one-day entry to Cedar Point for only $35 during registration or on the day of the run at any Cedar Point ticket booth. Runners can also receive discounts on accommodations at Cedar Point’s Breakers Express.
The Color Run is an extremely popular 5K, untimed race that began in March 2011 and now hosts more than 170 events in over 30 countries. The race is aimed at promoting healthiness and happiness in the community, a feeling that is enhanced by the colorful paint powder thrown on runners at designated color stations along the route.
